  3. Usually, it's dry here from July to October, but we've had fairly regular rains this year. I think that's why all the grasses on the roadsides this year have such lush, heavy, colorful heads. I wish I knew grasses better so I could identify this one for y'all. I call it "foxtail", but I don't know if that's correct!

  4. We have some very tall decorative grass (6'+) that just developed it's purple flag like tassels in the first week of October. This seemed to be in a bit of delay from last years splendor which I wrap in bundles to stand tall for the Winter's winds. I cut 4" stubs in the Spring and the pre-tied decoration go out with the next weekly pick-up. :)ken

  5. I would love to get a tall decorative grass to plant on the west side of our shed (a hot dry area.) I need to do some research this winter so I can be ready to start it next spring. Do you know what type of grass you have?
