Gingerbread in Hopkinsville

Lovely Victorian wooden trim

This old house has beautiful, fancy trim. It's in Hopkinsville near the hospital. The balcony is the focal point of the house, and its arch is echoed in some of the other details. In its day, it was a very attractive home, though it needs some upkeep now. It would be interesting to go inside. I imagine it having a large stairway with a heavy ornate banister, arched transoms over the doorways, detailed wood mouldings, built in cupboards and bookcases, and more -- but I'll probably never know for sure.
