Summer in the Country

Seen around Christian County, KY


Butterfly and thistle


This dead tree stands on a hill.
It's a favorite perch for buzzards and hawks.


Last year, cattle were grazing in this field.
Probably the corn will go into ethanol.

That is the one shot I got of that butterfly before he fluttered off. I didn't feel like wading through poison ivy to follow him!
