CONTENTMENT: Keep your heart free from hate, your mind from worry, live simply, expect little, give much, sing often, pray always, forget self, think of others and their feelings, fill your heart with love, scatter sunshine. These are the tried links in the golden chain of contentment.

IT IS STILL BEST to be honest and truthful; to make the most of what we have; to be happy with simple pleasure; and to be cheerful and have courage when things go wrong.
(Laura Ingalls Wilder, 1867-1957)
Thanks for reading.

We've had a warm winter too--but a snowstorm is just starting up here.
I love the purple haze hill in the bottom photo.
I read about your snowstorm, John. You can have it -- I don't want it. ;)
Collagemama, I have to confess that I "Gimped" that photo a little to enhance the colors in it, as it was taken on a gray, overcast day, and it was a fairly drab photo. I used a Gimp version of the Orton Effect. You could search for "Orton Effect" plus the name of whatever graphics program you use, and find a similar set of steps, I'm sure. It's fun to play with.
I used to use Paintshop Pro all the time, but anymore, I use mostly Gimp which is a free, open-source program. However, I still do a few things in Paintshop Pro simply because it does them so well.
