Time goes too fast!
Here's Isaac, posing in the light of his birthday candles. This was the most human of his birthday pictures. His other poses included "zombie birthday." I'll leave that to your imagination.
I didn't want Isaac to be born on the 13th, because some years, his birthday would fall on Friday the 13th (like this year.) I'm not superstitious about Friday the 13th, but I thought that birthday might provide opportunity for someone to give him a hard time sometime. If that has ever happened, I'm sure Isaac was able to handle it.

If you divide the population of the USA into 365 you get about 800,000 or so. Therefore about 800,000 people share the same birthday as Isaac, so he's in pretty good company (and will have to get a bigger cake!)
Hi, Limey. I didn't have much control over Isaac's birth date, so I must assume that he was born on the day meant for him.
By the way, you'll be interested that gas in Hopkinsville is rapidly approaching the $4/gallon. I think it was $3.99 on Thursday night at the gas station on 41-A at the WalMart intersection. At the Murphy gas station on the WalMart lot, it was still $3.89.
Dan Marino played with number 13 on his jersey, and controversial Chicago White Sox manager (who won a World Series in 2005) where a 13 on his back.
Any number's lucky if you believe in it, I suppose. I think my lucky number is supposed to be 2, according to a Chinese restaurant placemat I read once. I haven't noticed that 2 has done anything for me, though.
I forgot to wish Isaac a happy birthday! As for the gas - it will soon be cheaper to buy a new car than fill it up : )
Just spent a week with my elderly father who went off on rants about why anyone still cares about Madonna and Friday the 13th. Being born on the
13th is more convenient than being born on Febr. 29th.
Any birthday for a teen boy is lucky if he can't drive yet! Oy, those years of expensive car insurance and oil spots on the driveway!
Here's hoping Isaac is a careful driver.
My Mother was born on a Friday the 13th. Lucky for me.
