Getting A Job

Blogs and Blogging...

Guy Kawasaki has a great article on his blog today about getting a job. To be specific, it's about getting a job in Silicon Valley, but many of the principles are valid for any job interview. It's well worth a read, and there are quality suggestions and observations in the comments section as well.

Thanks for sharing this, Genevieve - a fun & interesting read...I'm presently at the "job seeking" point in my life again, after being a full-time Mom, volunteer publicity person, assistant to my Dad for his camera business for many years, but am now ready to join the workforce again... I know things have definitely changed since I last had a job with a real salary (16 years!) so it's nice to get a glimpse of how things might go at a "modern day" interview...also, I want to tell you I thoroughly enjoy reading your blog...it's always refreshing and interesting to visit =)

Peggi, how well I know what job-seeking is. I hope you find something you really like.

Trouble is, I still don't know what I want to be after I grow up! I am fond of eating and living indoors though, so soon I'll be taking just about anything I can find.
